Top AA Weekly Performers
Here are your top performers from last week’s AA slate of games.
Lazaro Montes | OF | Arkansas Travelers (SEA) | Age: 21
💎Ebay Auction to Monitor💎: 2023 Bowman Chrome Lazaro Montes Refractor Auto /499
Past week: Montes recorded his 12th career multi-homer game on June 3, the most recent in a stretch of elevated production for Double-A Arkansas.
Season to date: Montes entered the 2026 season as a legitimate power concern after a slow start — just one home run in his first 80 plate appearances — but turned his year around with a breakout stretch in early May that included a three-homer, eight-RBI game against Wichita. His OPS jumped from .686 to .900 during that stretch.
Outlook/tools: Montes’ calling card is raw power, and scouts project him as a 30-plus home run threat at the major league level. He has a strong arm that fits in right field, though his below-average speed and size mean a first-base transition is possible long-term if he adds weight. His hit tool grades at 40, power at 70. Signed out of Cuba for $2.5 million in 2022. Some call him Baby Yordan - tough shoes to fill.
Bo Davidson | OF | Richmond Flying Squirrels (SF) | Age: 23
💎Ebay Auction to Monitor💎: 2025 Bowman Chrome Bo Davidson True Blue Auto /150
Past week: Davidson homered in four consecutive games and five of six in a recent stretch, driving in eight runs in that series against Erie. His OPS for the month of June has climbed to 1.000 on the back of the power surge.
Season to date: Through 44 games in 2026, Davidson is slashing .265/.310/.500. He has 41 career home runs as a professional after San Francisco signed him as an undrafted free agent in 2023. Analysts note that Davidson’s walk rate has dropped to 7.4% in 2026 from a career 13.8%, and his swing rate has increased to 53.6%, representing a more aggressive approach, though his contact rate and strikeout rate have both improved.
Outlook/tools: Davidson projects as a speed-and-power combo with 20-20 upside in the majors. He combined for 18 home runs and 19 stolen bases across 114 games between High-A and Double-A in 2025. Analysts note a potential path toward 30/30 at the major league level if he can balance his approach. He is listed as the Giants’ No. 6 prospect.
Daniel Eagen | RHP | Amarillo Sod Poodles (ARI) | Age: 23
💎Ebay Auction to Monitor💎: 2024 Bowman Draft Daniel Eagen Yellow Auto /75
Past week: Eagen posted a season-high 10 strikeouts on June 5 for Double-A Amarillo, his best single-game strikeout performance of the 2026 season. Earlier in May, he struck out eight batters over five innings in a 2-0 shutout win against Corpus Christi.
Season to date: Eagen opened 2026 at Double-A Amarillo as his primary assignment after posting a 2.49 ERA with 132 strikeouts over 97.2 innings at High-A Hillsboro in 2025. Through his first handful of Double-A starts in 2026 he has carried a 3.77 ERA with a 16:9 K:BB ratio. His 2025 season earned him organization Pitcher of the Year honors from Arizona.
Outlook/tools: Eagen runs his four-seam fastball into the mid-90s with excellent carry out of a high arm slot and up to 20 inches of induced vertical break. His 81-83 mph curveball generates sharp downward action effective against batters from both sides. He has also incorporated a mid-80s gyro slider and a splitter showing flashes of future average MLB utility. He is currently listed as Arizona’s No. 7 prospect. Worth noting: Eagen overcame a cancerous brain tumor that required surgery at age 4, and is now cancer-free.
